Coberley C of E Primary School is looking to appoint an organised and efficient Clerk to the Governors.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend 6 Full Governing Board meetings a year. Our scheduled meetings are held in the afternoon on week days.

Aside from meeting attendance, the role can be carried out flexibly and will be mainly home-based. Access to a computer and internet is essential to the role.

We are looking for a clerk to provide effective administrative support to the Governing Board, who can provide advice to the Board on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.

Knowledge and experience of school governance would be preferable, but training will be available for the right candidate.
