Welcome to our online learning page, this is where I will be posting tasks for you to do at home to support your learning.

Dear Class 2 and parents,

This is a pack for you to use while you are away from school. There are writing, reading, spelling, handwriting and maths activities included. On the school website, there are also a list of website/app suggestions for you to use too. Some activities can be completed on the sheets provided, and for some you will need to use the purple exercise book that we sent home.

Each week day, I suggest that you should spend this amount of time on each activity: Reading to an adult or older sibling (10 minutes)
Spelling (10 minutes)
Times tables (10 minutes)

Doodle apps – maths/times tables/spelling/English (30 minutes) Writing/reading/maths tasks (60 minutes)

For the first two weeks (23rd March – 3rd April), I have provided a schedule of suggested tasks, which is in this pack. If we are still not returning to school after the Easter holidays, I will put new weekly schedules up on the school website. You can see these by visiting the Class 2 Home Working page:  

For any Twinkl activities that are set, the answers can be found on the Twinkl website if parents would like them. Twinkl is free to use for everyone at the moment – you’ll just need to set up an account for yourselves.

Don’t forget – there are other ways to continue learning too! Science experiments, art activities, history or geography projects and exploring outdoors are all brilliant ways to keep your brains working! J
